Stumbled upon this place while exploring the Hill Country. Owner was very friendly and shared with us the store's history, etc. We came back for the specialty lunch of Chicken Fettichini Alfredo. OMG! It was amazing! It was Sept and their hours were limited due to the wind down of the season and a kitchen remodel but it was enough for us and we thought the place must be really fun in the summer with the patio open and live music.
Such a fun and casual venue-the store itself, the food is great and the staff is helpful. When they offer live music it is truly a bonus. We love it!!
Wow! I came in from Austin to visit a friend in Hunt and was taken here to eat. I was so excited to see Luke is the chef! He had the best burgers in Austin, and I’m so happy he is able to bring his amazing skills to Hunt. We will definitely eat here again when passing through.
The Hunt Store is exactly what you imagine when you think of a place where you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and feel like a regular by the time you leave!! The staff is wonderful and the new menu is unbelievable. I had the Ossobuco on Wednesday night.....you couldn’t have eaten better at a Diamond rated restaurant!!
My mother in law and I went there, and had one of the best cheeseburgers we have ever had. The staff was very friendly, atmosphere was great. We went foe lunch midweek so it was not very crowded. There is plenty of parking, and the Hunt store often has live music on the weekends. The drive to The Hunt Store is beautiful. Well worth the stop!
Go here if you're in the area! Huge selection and I can't wait to go back and try more. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was perfect. My daughter had the kids corn dog and it was literally the best corn dog either of us had in our lives.
Great little country store and gas station. Also has an area in the store that sales clothes and home items. Also the ice cream bar is awesome and the fountain drinks are always good
This is cool little country store. We stopped just to look around and buy some drinks while visiting the area. We did not try the food but we did buy a brownie that was very good. Its worth a stop just to check out and visit with a few locals.
